The Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program is seeking a Cost/Schedule Manager 2 to provide cost/schedule management support to Integrated Product Team (IPT) levels. The selected candidate will report to the GBSD Business Unit Cost Schedule Manager and will partner with IPT leadership to manage all cost/schedule aspects.

The Cost/Schedule Manager 2 will lead a team of cost/schedule professionals. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency of developing and motivating staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills. This role will sit in Roy, Utah when the campus opens which is anticipated to be June 2020. Until this time, you may temporarily office out of Ogden or Promontory facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Leading all aspects of IPT cost/schedule performance objectives.

  • Ensuring effective compliance with EVMS requirements.

  • Overseeing and ensuring quality of cost and schedule data delivered to internal and external customers, including EVMS reporting requirements.

  • Leading IPT level engagements for Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs), Internal and External Audits, and other financial assurance engagements.

  • Providing insight and support to Subcontract Management Teams managing the supply base.

  • Identifying issues and make recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.





Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 8+ years of industry related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 6+ years of industry related experience.

  • Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

  • Experience with Earned Value cost/schedule reporting (e.g. IPMRs, CFSRs, and CCDR/CSDRs).

  • Experience leading teams to successful outcomes.

  • Experience operating within highly compliant business environments (e.g., Earned Value Management, TINA Compliant Cost Estimating, FAR/DFARS required Contracting, CAS, etc.).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency.

  • Experience in establishing a program baseline or significant experience in developing time phased pricing or estimating forecasts.

  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or a Master's Degree in a Business related field.

  • Management experience.

  • Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.

  • Experience using Deltek COBRA cost management and Oracle Primavera software tools.

  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
