Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 3 to provide full spectrum Business Management leadership to the GSSC Program Area within the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. The selected candidate will report to the Director of Business Management for the SDS Division and will partner with GSSC Program leadership to manage all financial aspects of the program's performance and financial/strategic objectives.
The Business Management Manager 3 will lead a team of business management professionals, as either direct reports or matrixed from other disciplines. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency of developing and motivating staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills. This position is located in Roy, UT.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leading all aspects of programs business management and financial execution objectives to encompass cost and schedule management, pricing and cost estimating, contracts, and property administration.
Ensuring effective compliance with EVMS requirements.
Providing accurate, timely, and supported inputs to business systems supporting financial forecasting and profitability determination.
Leading program and task order level engagements for Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs), Internal and External Audits, and other financial assurance engagements.
Leading program and task order level proposal activities to include cost and contracts volumes development.
Providing support to Subcontract Management Teams managing the supply base and effectively engage those teams in driving financial forecasting accuracy.
Overseeing and ensuring quality of financial data delivered to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.
Leading IPT support to the development of the GSSC Program Area Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/ Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP).
Identifying issues and making recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 8+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, pricing/cost estimating, contracts, program control, or other related business management function - OR - a Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 6+ years of industry related experience as outlined above.
Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation in both a fully compliant and tailored implementation space.
Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
Leadership experience leading teams to successful outcomes.
Strong experience operating within highly compliant business environments (e.g. Earned Value Management, TINA Compliant Cost Estimating, FAR/DFARS required Contracting).
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency.
Experience in establishing a program baseline or significant experience in developing time phased pricing or estimating forecasts.
Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR/DFARS.
Current Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
MBA or a Master's Degree in a Business related field.
Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.
Prior experience using Deltek COBRA cost management and Oracle Primavera software tools.
Prior experience supporting large complex proposal activities.
Experience with financial forecasting systems including any of the following: TM-1, Hyperion, or COGNOS.
Current, active Top Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
