Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Business Analyst 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This individual will report the Rates and Budgets Manager in the Strategic Deterrent Division and will be responsible for supporting the division executive leadership team (ELT).
The selected individual will work with the various members of the division ELT, and other business management professionals to provide financial reporting, forecasting and other business support as needed. This position is located in Roy, UT.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Providing accurate and timely inputs to business systems supporting financial forecasting and profitability determination.
Providing inputs into the development of the annual and long term operating plan for the division, specifically focused on non-contractual activities and investment.
Developing and maintaining weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting as required by the division ELT.
Supporting the division digital transformation and finding ways to better automate reporting.
Ensuring quality of financial data delivered including variance analysis and forecasts.
Responsible for presenting variance analysis as required to division management.
Identifying issues and making recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3+ years of related professional experience.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 4:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution with 9+ years of related professional experience in pricing/cost estimating, contracts, program control, or other related business management function - OR - a Master's degree with 7+ years of related professional experience.
Additional Basic qualifications for both levels:
Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency.
SAP accounting system experience.
Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR/DFARS.
Current Secret security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
CPA or a Master's Degree in a business related field.
Experience with Tableau.
Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to the team and/or management.
Experience with financial forecasting systems, including the following: TM-1, Hyperion, or COGNOS.
Current Top Secret security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
