Manager Electronics Engineering 2
This position entails leading a team of Manufacturing Test Engineers chartered to develop, maintain, and continuously improve wide-band RF, analog, and digital manufacturing test and environmental screening capability used in airborne, military-grade, or space-grade Electronic Warfare Systems and Subsystems. This includes a wide array of products and technology that may include System Processors, RF Signal Converters, Digital Processors, Receivers, RF Transmitters, Microwave Power Modules (MPMs), Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs), Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs) and Antenna
Responsibilities include leading the team's efforts to provide technical support to production test technicians, developing and validating new test equipment, focusing the team on continuous improvement of test times and capability, collaborating with Design Engineering on new product development, collaborating with Process & Design Engineering on product improvements, preparing proposals in response to customer requests, strategically planning and implementing capital investment, and maintaining appropriate staffing and skills.
The Test Engineering team is comprised of hardware and software specialists. The products operate, typically, between S to Ka bands with power dissipations up to multiple kilowatts. Commonly used test software includes NITM LabVIEW, TestStand, and LabWindows/CVI.
This leader will foster a trusting and collaborative environment enabling the direct team to maximize its effectiveness. Building a strong professional relationship with other Manufacturing disciplines (Process Engineering, Project Management, Shop Operations, Mission Assurance) is essential.
Basic Qualifications: Manager, Electronics Engineering 2
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree with a minimum of 9 years relevant experience; or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience. Demonstrated success in leading and developing people.

This individual will have the ability to read and understand product drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Manager, Electronics Engineering 2
Experience in electronics manufacturing with a specific focus on test engineering for military-grade hardware. Success in the management of engineers through the design or manufacture of military-grade electronics equipment. Demonstrated success in leading and developing manufacturing engineers.
Demonstrated experience in the design and development of Radio Frequency test equipment.
Training and certification in Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools
Experience with SAP ERP software
Expertise in a Manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience managing a work cell, engineering group, test environment, or technical projects.
Working knowledge of product flow (development through production)
Active DoD Security Clearance
Experience in the use and application of the National Instruments LabVIEW programming environment
Experience in the use and application of National Instruments LabWindows/CVI programming environment

Salary Range: $141,100 - $211,700
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
