Northrop Grumman Business Analyst 3/4 (Manufacturing) in Rolling Meadows, Illinois

Do you like to take data and turn it into information? Or actionable items to improve the bottom line? The Northrop Grumman Rolling Meadows Campus is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Business Analyst 3/4 to join the Manufacturing team to do just this.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The incumbent will assist Manufacturing with specific duties to include:

  • Maintain Operational Metrics to track the health of Manufacturing and SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale)

  • Will interface with Business Management on metrics, planning, and financial topics.

  • Collect and prepare information monthly for Sector Metrics including; Contract Delivery Performance, Program Financial Performance, PSRR, i-Card metrics and RTG.

  • Workload forecast including monthly reviews and reporting, monthly sector review and coordinating monthly reviews with the Operations Program Managers.

  • Provide support and coordination of all Sector Manufacturing requests for information.

* This requisition may be filled at either a Professional Band Level3 or a Professional Band Level4 based on the qualifications listed below*.



Basic Qualifications:

  • The basic qualification requirements for a Professional Band Level 3 is a Bachelor's degreeand 6 plus years of experience in business related field or a Masters with 4 years business related experience

  • The basic qualification requirements for a Professional Band Level 4 is a Bachelor's degree and 10 plus years of experience in business related field or a Masters with 8 years business related experience

Basic qualifications for both Band Level 3 and 4 are:

  • Demonstrated experience in working on teams or projects

  • Knowledge/Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivots and Word)

  • US citizen and ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a financial/planning environment, scheduling and planning, strong analytical skills.

  • General knowledge of Manufacturing Processes

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of management

  • Proven analytical skills in analyzing financial reports and variances
