Northrop Grumman Process Engineer in Rocket Center, West Virginia

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for our Missile Products facility in Rocket Center, WV.

The Process Engineer would be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Designs and plans layout for production processes in rocket motor or warhead manufacturing operations.

  • Plans sequence of operations and specifies work instructions, monitors work conducted, assesses manufacturing data.

  • Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over variables.

  • Establishes and submits processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment.

  • Supports proposals for recurring work efforts as well as new work potential.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar Engineering discipline.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required, and the ability to acquire a Secret Clearance.

  • At least two years of Engineering experience.

  • Proven ability to manage time and resources to meet schedule and cost goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated work ethic.
