Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector is looking for a Manager of Program Control, Level 1 to support the Missile Products organization/business unit.

This position requires proactive guidance and significant interaction with the Program Director and Program Managers to ensure alignment across operating and financial objectives. The Manger of Program Control is a strategic business partner to various functional teams and will collaborate on proposals, contract negotiations, financial reporting and EACs.

The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead business management team for Tactical Subsystems

  • Oversee functional analysts and equivalent unit tracking

  • Provide guidance regarding career development planning

  • Financial Planning and analysis as it relates to awards, sales, operating margin, and cash, including planning of and tracking to annual operating plan and five year financial plan

  • Ensure financial controls and processes are in place and being followed

  • Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) reviews for compliance and accuracy

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working in Business Management related field

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and lead teams to results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration Degree

  • Experienced in performing Earned Value reviews, bottoms up EAC, risks/opportunity analysis

  • Experienced in developing Annual Operating Plan

  • Proven track record of successfully communicating and collaborating with different levels of management and integrated product teams

  • Experience with Inter Company Work Orders
