NGDS's Weapon Systems Division is seeking an NDT manager at our Allegany Ballistics Lab (ABL) location in Rocket Center, WV. ABL develops and manufactures a broad range of products, primarily for defense, with a focus on tactical solid rocket propulsion. NDT Managers are responsible for supervising work activities of NDT technicians in various inspection methods.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assigns daily/weekly work responsibilities to technicians based on production schedule needs.
Responsible for maintaining budget performance of NDT inspections for programs or subsystems of major programs.
Participates in the planning and development of inspection facilities.
Coordinates the flow of product through inspection processes.
Acts as primary customer contact for program NDT activities, leading process review sessions with customer to discuss procedural actions, adherence, and technical performance.
Assists in concept, criteria and engineering efforts for product inspection development, integration, and tests.
Develops technical skills in technicians.
Establishes and monitors inspection program problems and obtains solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have 10 years of experience in a relevant field, will consider a bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience or a master's degree with 4 years of experience.
Prior management experience.
The ability to obtain a security clearance.
Support alternate shift/extended hours of support
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous NDT experience
AS9100 Audit experience
Experience in Quality Assurance

Salary Range: $79,900 - $119,900
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
