Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to lead, partner, and develop the Strategic Space Systems' recruiting team from our Space Park campus in Redondo Beach, CA. Duties:

  • Recommends and implements talent acquisition strategies as a highly influential talent advisor

  • Mentors, coaches, develops, and engages high performing recruiting team

  • Thrives in a fast paced, results-driven environment while modeling Northrop Grumman's Leadership Behaviors

  • Builds collaborative partnerships with customers, business partners, and other talent acquisition leaders within large and complex organizations

  • Develop operational efficiencies to streamline recruiting initiatives

  • Works with the Talent Acquisition Director and other talent acquisition leaders and consults with key stakeholders to identify talent strategies necessary to align with the goals of the business

  • Develops and executes cleared talent strategies providing expertise in areas of strategic sourcing and market intelligence

  • Leverages data analytics and metrics to maximize productivity and optimize results of the recruiting team

  • Builds deep relationships with our HR Business partners to improve talent outcomes

  • Partners with enterprise colleagues to strategically align sector resources and leverages partnership both internally and externally

  • Ensures staffing policies and procedures are followed in compliance with government regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • One of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or closely related experience

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or closely related experience

  • No degree, but at least 12 years of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or closely related experience

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects to completion

  • Prior experience either as a team lead or manager

  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to organize, prioritize, plan, schedule, and follow up on concurrent tasks while elevating issues as needed

  • Understanding of applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday

  • Ability to travel within the United States as needed (10- 15% of the time)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full life cycle recruiting process experience, to include comprehensive understanding of compliance with OFCCP

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading diverse teams

  • Project management experience
