Northrop Grumman Staff Systems Engineer - Remote Activation Lead (TS/SCI) in Redondo Beach, California

The Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) division of Northrop Grumman's Space Systems sector seeks team members who want to solve interesting, complex problems which protect our nation. We are a trusted mission payload and ground system provider with extensive experience providing end-to-end mission solutions from concept through operations and support. The team you will support is located at our Space Park campus in Redondo Beach, CA.
What you'll get to do?
You will lead a team responsible for designing and implementing a remote activation capability. You must possess experience creating high security systems. Additionally, you must have familiarity with ICD-503 controls and how to be compliant while delivering to a cost and schedule baseline. Outstanding collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders are needed to successfully lead the team of Infrastructure Support Group's Software, Systems Engineering, and communications specialists. The preferred candidate will have previous experience working on Advance Responsive Integrated Systems (ARIS), specifically in security control adaptation, and activation. Past direct interactions with the customer is a plus. This position will have very high visibility.
14 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 12 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 9 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access or active SCI access
Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills
Works well in a team environment
Experience with Agile development
Effectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers and customers
Experience working on Advance Responsive Integrated Systems (ARIS)
