Northrop Grumman's Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is currently seeking a Government Compliance Analyst at our Redondo Beach, Ca location.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare annual Incurred Cost Submission, including all main schedules and supporting data/supplemental schedules
Assist in gathering relevant information/data, coordinating, supporting, and reviewing audit responses to DCMA/DCAA
Assist with negotiations of forward pricing cost rate agreements and/or incurred cost determinations
Assist in preparation of general dollar magnitude and/or cost impact proposals
Assist in "what-if" analysis for potential cost accounting structure and/or business environment changes
Assist in review of business systems compliance
Assist Rate Segments (self-assessments, analysis, compliance strategy development, and CAR and CAP resolution)
DCAA & DCMA Liaison Support
Help to execute of Business System Surveillance Plan by performing substantive testing in accordance with the Business System Surveillance Plan.
Document Deficiencies in Internal Corrective Action Reports (ICARs)
Assist CAS segment business system owners in dispositioning ICARs
Work with system owners to ensure that required improvements are completed
Assist with the maintenance of the Sector Compliance Technical Manual and Associated Procedures
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
15 years of directly applicable experience in auditing, accounting and compliance or OR a Master's Degree and 13 years of stated experience
Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Government regulations, including Cost Accounting Standards, FAR, and DFARS.
Experience working with auditors
Requires strong Microsoft aptitude especially with Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree and/or CPA
Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience
Knowledge of compliance with DFARS Business Systems
