Northrop Grumman Sr. Principal Engineer Systems in Redondo Beach, California

Project Engineer on the F35 program will execute change packages; maintaining technical integration, cost, schedule, and support organization impacts associated with each unique package. Strong skills are necessary to coordinate with the customer as well as the internal Integrated Product Teams (IPT)s. A Project Engineer will drive change execution between Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Pricing, Scheduling, Contracts, Tooling and Production to completion and present status and issues to Program Leadership. As a Level 4 Engineer there is an expectation to plan and coordinate processes, procedures improvements, and trade studies and manage multiple project's scope, cost, schedule and risk and present to leadership. The environment is very dynamic and requires an individual to find solutions and share with colleagues. The position is for an individual that enjoys a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and one who excels working in a collaborative/team setting.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and minimum experience of 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.

Technical knowledge and practice in design, analysis, or on-aircraft experience with Subsystems, Composites, or Metallic Structures.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead multiple projects and meet defined schedule commitments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university

Experience w/ taking top level concepts and translating into detailed plans & execution

Strong written and communication skills

Prior experience with briefing executive level leadership
