The team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Software Integration & Test Engineer based out of Redondo Beach, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Division is looking for a Software Integration & Test Engineer to fill multiple funded, full time positions on our team in our Redondo Beach, CA location Engineering, Sciences and Technology (ES&T) organization. ES&T has a large portfolio of programs developing and maintaining ground communication systems. We have multiple needs for integration testers with experience testing on Linux operating systems needed on large Operation & Maintenance programs. Candidates will be competent in writing and executing Perl scripts, and have past experience working on command and control systems. Candidates must be able to complete tasking with minimal supervision and be an independent self-starter. Thisperson must also Work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.

  • Creating, augmenting and maintaining automated test procedures

  • Integrating complex software systems

  • Developing test approaches for new software capabilities

  • Automated Test Script Maintenance and Development

  • Understanding technical conversations

  • Technical interface with the customer

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4

Basic Qualifications for a Level 3

  • 5 years of System Engineering experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 3 years of System Engineering experience with Masters; 0 Years with a PhD

  • Candidate must have experience in software scripting, preferably in Perl and Java/C++, in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment

  • Demonstrated ability indiagnostic/problem solving

  • Current Top Secret security clearance required with the ability to obtain SCI access

Basic Qualifications for a Level 4

  • 9 years of System Engineering experience with a Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline; 7 years of System Engineering experience with Masters; 4 Years with a PhD
