What You'll Get To Do:
Management activities include providing technical oversight of software integration and software testing of software components from unit test level up through full software integration. Manage a team of software developers following hybrid of Waterfall and Agile Development with Continuous Integration processes. The candidate will ensure that the software testers are following Agile practices including program prescribed testing and integration methodology, developing secure test tools, and fulfilling software requirements including performance requirements and security implications. Ensures that software integration and testing supports System Level Testing and Integration and that software tests cover software requirements and trace up to system level requirements. We cover a wide variety of DevOps technologies including Atlassian suite of tools (Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket), Fortify, Ansible, and many more.
Must have the ability to work effectively within a team environment, ability to interface with other groups within the project including geographical distributed teams, well-developed problem-solving skills, and ability to work within a
dynamic environment. Works with very little direction. Determines and develops solutions to unblock software testers and keep software integration team on track to delivery milestones.

Basic Qualifications for a Software Manager Level 2:
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 10 years of relevant work experience
Experience leading a team of software integration engineers in software deliverables and processes, including extensive testing and integration of software products
Experience with Earned Value (managing schedules and budgets
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Experience leading Agile software integration teams utilizing continuous integration and test methodologies
Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
Current SCI access or current DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access prior to start date.
Ability to obtain SAP clearance
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements, streamline activities, and develop efficiencies
Knowledge of DevOps technologies including Jenkins, Fortify, Ansible, Atlassian suite
Previous software experience in Java, C/C++, and Python. Must have experience in software development deliverables and processes, including developing test plans and integration milestones
Five or more years of previous management experience as a Software Manager or Technical Lead is a plus
