The Business Systems Integration (BSI) team within Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a SharePoint Developer/Computer Systems Analyst based out of Redondo Beach, CA.

The BSI team bridges the gap between the business side of operations (day to day system users) and the Information Technology (IT) department. The team also manages the sector's current and future portfolio of IT projects which includes budgets, schedules, and risk management. In addition, we have recently taken on the large task of mapping out Digital Transformation of our current business landscape which will revolutionize the way Northrop Grumman does business.

In this role you will:

  • create customized SharePoint solutions

  • be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications

  • build scalable web applications

  • write and modify code

  • debug software

  • train staff

To ensure success as a SharePoint Developer, you should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues.

Ultimately, a top-class SharePoint Developer can create clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet all company design and functionality requirements.



Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors in Science with two (2) or more years of related engineering experience

  • Two (2) or more years of hands on experience and/or training in SharePoint development

  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery

  • Ability to solve complex software issues

  • Ability to execute project management tasks

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, etc) for professional tasks

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance (up to a SCI w/ Poly)

  • Willing and able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active (in-scope) DoD Top Secret and/or SCI Clearance

  • High-level coding skills

  • Experience with HTML5, XML, SQL Server, and Web Services

  • Previous project management experience

  • Previous experience standing up large scale SharePoint capabilities and management of tools
