Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector is seeking a Security Coordinator level 4 at our Redondo Beach,CA location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing multiple, moderately complex duties in connection with the Personnel Security (PERSEC) program. Assists higher-level specialists with the implementation and execution of personnel security matters in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, directives, and issuance's.
Using different processes and methods, plans and carries out a variety of moderately complex security support assignments, reviews and reconciles various documents and records, and resolves a variety of problems through coordination with various levels organizational representatives
Process incoming Program Access Requests (PAR) and associated documentation.
Candidate will be expected to perform additional duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
Position requires a current Top Secret / SCI clearance.
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 6 years of Security administrative experience
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Thorough knowledge of the NISPOM and DOD 5202.07 Vol 2
Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy
Strong analytical skill and problem solving skills
Ability to multitask
