Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for an RF Electronics Engineer and Principal RF Electronics Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on the RF Antenna team. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
The selected candidate will develop, implement, and execute antenna test plans in a lab environment supporting various space, aircraft, and ground systems.
Demonstrated fundamental theory and concept with design/analysis/testing of radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave antenna systems.
Fundamental in electromagnetic theory and electromagnetic analysis.
Practical design/analysis experience, innovative thinking, and familiarity with the state-of-the-art.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in a lab environment and be able to collaborate closely with system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers.

Level 2: A Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2+ years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment; or a STEM Master's Degree
Level 3: A Bachelor's of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 5+ years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment; or a STEM Master's Degree and 3+ years of engineering experience in an aerospace environment; or a STEM PhD. Degree
Experience scripting such as VBA and Matlab
The ability to obtain and maintain special program access
Antenna Range operation experience is a plus
Experience in troubleshooting antenna performance, link budget, and power budget generating
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Ability to follow process and procedures
Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance
