The Space Vehicle Systems Engineer will provide support for upcoming SV rework and continuing the system storage phase and closure of all SVSE tasks prior to Pre-Ship Review. Responsibilities include:
Support SV I&T testing on-floor as SV & Bus interface
Oversee IST testing and Collect & assess data during test campaign for rework
Support closure of open space vehicle requirement verification
Support creation of test IOCs
Support LSI in launch requirement definition assessments
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an ABET accredited university and 5+ years (Systems Engineer) or 3+ years (Principal Systems Engineer) of Systems Engineering experience in an aerospace/defense environment with a Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline.
Must have experience working with various software/data processing tools such as DOORS, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other various programming languages.
Must have experience working with SE Tools, such as DOORS or CAMEO
Must have and maintain SCI clearance.
Salary Range: $104,600 - $157,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
