Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has a current opening for a Principal SharePoint Developer/Data Management Analyst supporting our Command Media Documenting system across the entire Aeronautics Systems sector. The role will be based out of our Redondo Beach, CA facilities.

This role requires a thorough understanding of MS Excel and MS Word, as well as the ability to develop an expertise with MS SharePoint.

Duties include:

  • Developing and supporting SharePoint tools for multiple customers across the sector

  • Generation of complex workflows to support tools and processes

  • SharePoint site creation and maintenance

  • Support cross functional and cross sector teams across multiple projects

  • Metadata management

  • Supporting business analysts and developers on project teams as they document their data requirements and establish thorough specifications

  • Conducting facilitation sessions to gather requirements

  • Working with database administrators to build the physical model and overall data architecture Reviewing and reporting on project metrics to benchmark effectiveness

  • Working closely with database administrators and developers to ensure that business models are accurately implemented in application systems

  • Providing education on the naming and modeling standards; assisting with modeling specific constructs

  • Reviewing project models to ensure adherence to standards

  • Ensuring data quality alignment

  • Working on and across multiple projects to ensure consistency in naming conventions and promoting the sharing and reuse of data across applications and business areas

  • Contributing to data management internal projects as well as the upgrading of standards and best practice guidelines
