Northrop Grumman Principal Industrial Security Analyst or Sr Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Clearance Required) in Redondo Beach, California

Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

The selected candidate will support the Space Systems Sector as an Industrial Security Analyst in Redondo Beach, CA. The selected candidate will work with and support a team of other security professionals. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: supporting a fast-paced program environment; creating, maintaining and leveraging working relationships with internal and external customers; developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment; studying and implementing federal security regulations that apply to company operations; obtaining rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies; preparing manuals outlining regulations and establishing procedures for handling, storing and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor's access to restricted records and materials. Conducting security education classes and related briefings; investigating security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

This position may be filled at either the Principal or Sr Principal level.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Basic Qualifications for a level 3:

  • Current Active SSBI or T5(R)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain SAP and SCI accesses

  • 6 Years of CPSO or directly related experience with Bachelors; or 4 Years with Masters (4 additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree)

  • Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals volumes 1-4, ICD 705 and the NISPOM.

  • Basic Qualifications for a level 4:

  • Current Active SSBI or T5(R)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain SAP and SCI accesses

  • 9 Years of CPSO/FSO or directly related experience with Bachelors; or 7 Years with Masters (4 additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree)

  • Working knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals volumes 1-4, ICD 705 and the NISPOM.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc.).

  • Ability to manage the program security requirements of SCI and DOD contracts.

  • Knowledgeable and able to answer questions; provide procedure and policy.

  • Guidance and supply approvals in accordance with IC and Sponsor procedures.

  • Experience working with customer-based security components.

  • Previous proposal/BD work a plus Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with.

  • Internal/external customers and across organizational elements.

  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.

  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Able to assist security personnel as needed.

  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • COMSEC Trained and Certified

  • Strong working knowledge of SIMS.
