We have an opening for either a Systems Engineer or a Principal Systems Engineer to join our talented, diverse team in Redondo Beach, CA.

What you'll get to do?

Configuration Management Analyst will plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met as well as review contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

  • Coordinate modification records for management control.

  • Establish change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

  • Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform complex professional tasks.

  • Problem solving to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.

  • May refer to established precedents and policies.

  • Discretion/Latitude to perform complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment.

  • Plan, schedule and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives.

  • Impact exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.

  • Liaison to represent organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.

  • Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

  • May develop and deliver presentations.

  • Understands scripting/coding. Able to troubleshoot issues.

  • Change Management

  • - Perform Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities

  • - Establish agendas, publish minutes & track meeting actions

  • - Process change packages through lifecycle include disposition & documentation / hardware implementation

  • - Perform program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Mgmt. tools

  • Configuration Status Accounting

  • - Development & maintain various CDM reports for program support. Example, Configured Item Identification List, Engineering Change Request status, CDM performance metrics

Basic Qualifications for Systems Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in STEM

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access or active SCI access

Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related experience

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access or active SCI access

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or other STEM-related field

• Experience in troubleshooting of complex systems

• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems

Salary Range: $85,000 - $127,400

Salary Range 2: $104,600 - $157,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
