Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is looking for a Space Vehicle Insertion Manager.

The Space Vehicle Insertion Manager will lead a multi-discipline team of 40 staff in the daily execution activities for various separate adjunct payload accommodations. This position involves the management of Space Vehicle requirements, system baseline, and system design to ensure compliance to requirements. The Space Vehicle adjunct manager position is responsible to coordinate on-time execution of adjunct payload insertions including technical tasking, schedule and financial oversight.

The successful candidate will be organized, responsible, able to work with upper program management and directly with the customer, and manage both budget and schedule for their entire staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering field from an accredited institution.

  • 9years of spacecraft hardware design, integration, assembly or integration

  • Active, in-scope DoD SCI Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering

  • Strong communication skills

  • Experience with Spacecraft hardware design, integration, assembly and integration
