Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is one of the leaders in providing first class products to the world. One of the capabilities at Space Park is performing precision cleaning of hardware from piece parts to complete assemblies.Precision cleaning processes on flight and non-flight hardware is one of the essential requirements for every hardware level. For these reasons, Space Park has a dedicatedISO 7 Class 10K Precision Cleaning Facility (PCF).The PCFsupports all programs across Space Park. In the PCF, the candidate would be responsible for learning andperforming precision cleaning processes to mechanical, electrical, and test hardware. Must take responsibility for keeping facility certified and maintained per department requirements and company policy. Must haveexcellent communication skills to interface with internal and external customers.
Associate's degree or equivalent related experienceand3 years experience in a manufacturing area
Must have basic experience in handling mechanical, electrical, and test hardware
Experience in handling chemicals such as Isopropyl Alcohol and Acetone
Must know how to review drawings, process specification, and work orders
Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office to supplement work order and other data requirements
Must be able to perform work dailyin an approved clean roomenvironment, to include wearing clean room garments
Active DoD Secret clearance
Excellent organization and communicationskills
Able to lead a team of technicians and be a champion for clean room certifications and processes
