Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a Solar Array Photovoltaic Assembly (PVA) IPT Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, Ca.
Role and Responsibilities:
Lead the multi-disciplinary Space Vehicle Solar Array Photovoltaic Assembly (PVA) Engineering Team thru requirements and architecture definition; product development and qualification; flight production; assembly, integration & test (AI&T), and delivery to Space Vehicle (SV) AI&T.
Support SV AI&T as needed with post-delivery integration and problem resolution.
Manage multiple subcontractors statements of work.
Manage cost, technical and schedule baseline for non-recurring qualification and flight production efforts.
Interface with internal and external customers.
Report program status.
Support SV/Bus architecture trades.
Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) to lead planning and procurement of long-lead parts/materials.

Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 7 or more years of experience in Aerospace Industry (5+ with a MS STEM degree, 3+ with a PhD STEM degree)
Management experience leading a team
Experience with Earned Value Management System
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the past 5 years
Broad understanding of spacecraft solar array photovoltaic assembly processes and products with a proven ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to these discipline areas
Subcontract Technical Management experience
Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience interfacing with senior management, peers, and employees
Self-directed technical leader with strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership experience in on Space Programs
