Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems Division has an opening for a 2nd Shift Fire Alarm Technician 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, Ca .
In this role you will:
Work with various Siemens Fire Alarm Systems
Perform maintenance and repairs on fire alarm equipment
Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, and test tools and equipment.
Schedule: Position will start and train on first shift, but will move to second shift when required. On-call hours are required.
Certification : A NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Systems certification is required within one year of starting position if not already obtained at point of offer.
Minimum High School Diploma/GED with 2 years additional education and/or related experience
Minimum 1 year experience with Fire Alarm Maintenance and Testing
Must be able to obtain and maintain required DoD Government Security clearances
NICET Level 1 Fire Alarm Systems certification
Experience with Siemens Fire Alarm Systems
