Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Antenna Test Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Space Park, Redondo Beach, CA.
The selected candidate will develop, implement, and execute antenna test plans in a lab environment supporting various space, aircraft, and ground systems.
Ensure consistency and quality antenna test plans/procedures
Exercise and demonstrate leadership on leading antenna test team to accomplish project objective
Troubleshooting testing issues and creating resolution plan
Understanding of antenna testing fundamentals
Understanding the raw data and have ability to post processing raw data as data report.
Experience with scripting languages such as VBA and Matlab.
Experience with basic RF equipment such as PNA, spectrum analyzer, power meter.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. Candidate must be comfortable in a lab environment and be able to collaborate closely with system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers.
Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and5 years of engineering experience; or a Master's Degree in STEM and3 years of engineering experience ; or 0 years experience with a STEM PhD.
Experience scripting such as VBA and Matlab
The ability to obtain and maintainprogram access
Antenna Range operation experience is a plus
Experience in troubleshooting antenna performance, link budget, and power budget generating
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Ability to follow process and procedures
Active, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance
