Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Engineer Circuit Design 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
The selected candidate will be an experienced digital design engineer who will work on multi-million gate ASIC and FPGA developments in the areas of digital communications, signal processing, network routing and switching applications, or embedded processors for air and space applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conceptual design
- Circuit Design
- Architecture development
- VHDL coding
- Design verification
- Integration & test
The selected candidate should have hands-on lab experience. This person must have good interpersonal skills, and be able to work well in a team environment with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering or another STEM discipline with 9 years of experience in digital logic design and/or verification; or 7 years experience with a STEM Master's degree; or 4 years experience with a STEM PhD.
- Thorough understanding of high reliability ASIC and FPGA verification
methodologies and processes
-Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain an SSBI clearance
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
