The Sagittarius program within SSSD has an opening for a Strategy, Growth and Enhancements Director to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals working on a high priority franchise program. This role reports directly to the Sagittarius Program Manager in Redondo Beach, CA.
As the Strategy, Growth and Enhancements Director you will be responsible developing a growth strategy and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to capture and transition program enhancements.
The Sagittarius Strategy, Growth and Enhancements Director responsibilities include:
Development and execution of a comprehensive growth strategy
Collaboration across a broad set of NG, customer and supplier stakeholders
Developing a pipeline of enhancement / growth initiatives into this special mission area
Definition and management of multi-year NCTA activities in support of enhancement captures
Support to broad external strategic initiatives (e.g. future Communications Payload requirements and architecture, R&D investments, capital investments, industry benchmarking)

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret or Top Secret PLUS a SCI clearance with SSBI/PR within the last 5 years.
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university
Minimum 10 years of experience in business capture and/or program management
Demonstrated ability to create trusted relationships with customers
Demonstrated ability to lead complex capture campaigns comprised of engineering, business, contracts, law, supply chain, production and mission/quality assurance disciplines
Leadership experience with new start activities and effective change management
Demonstrated innovation approaches applying novel technologies, architectures, and contract approaches to new initiatives
IPT / PM experience across multiple phases of program lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications:
Current or previously held SAP clearance
SAP clearance in this specific PIDs, and a community of related PIDs
Experience with multi-caveated special community programs
MS in STEM discipline or MBA from an accredited university
Proven experience delivering class A space hardware on-schedule in a multi-shipset production environment
Experience with relationship management and development of demanding and highly capable customers with daily communication cycles.
Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to make tough decisions
