Northrop Grumman Cyber Information Systems Security Analyst 2 in Redondo Beach, California
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Information Systems Security Analyst (CISSA) to join the Information Security team in the Los Angeles South Bay area (Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo). The CISS team consists of Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs) and Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs), Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSEs), and Information Systems Security Auditors (ISSAs). The selected candidate will perform one or more of these roles. The CISS organization has overall responsibility for providing security oversight to all Northrop Grumman classified systems under their respective purview.
The selected candidate will be responsible to ensure information system compliance with government and corporate security policies and procedures. Knowledge of ICD 503 and NIST SP 800-53 is required. The selected candidate will verify information systems meet applicable security controls as part of the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Responsibilities include preparing security plans and related documentation, verifying the configuration of information systems, supporting formal security testing and preparation, working with auditors and system administrators on security requirements, media handling, file transfers, incident reporting, computer and network contamination, hardware registration and tracking, audit log review and analysis, software research, and conducting briefings. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively to internal and external customers. Knowledge of Nessus, Xacta, and other security tools is a plus.
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor's degree. 0 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
Active SCI security clearance. (Last investigation within the last 6 years)
Current IAM DoD level 1 Security certification (CAP, GSLC or Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 6 months of the start date.
