Northrop Grumman's Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD) is seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our our Cost Management team in Redondo Beach, CA.
The Business Process Analystwill report to the Manager of ARIS Financial Management Business Unit and will be responsible for supporting the Strategic Space Systems ARIS programs to analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, currently focused on material demand and cost reporting and financial tracking systems. Coordinates with business and technology teams, document processes, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Requires knowledge of business processes, work flow, databases and aptitude for using process improvement tools such as Power Query and Power BI.
This role requires the candidate to have an active TS and/or SSBI/SCI Clearance access.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems
Represent the business unit to define requirements and business cases for the process improvements
Coordinate with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
Utilization of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flow.- Create financial charts in support of program management and program reviews; identify cost impacts and develop recovery plans as required
An active TS and/or SSBI/SCI Clearance is required
Bachelor's Degree with 3 years' experience in Business, Finance, or Accounting; or Master's Degree with 1 year of experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Working experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
Proficiency of the following systems or software: Productivity enablers such as Power Query and PowerBI add-ins, Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM) or similar project management software, wInsight, SAP Management Project Systems Module and Business Warehouse (BW).
