Northrop Grumman Strategic Space Systems is seeking an Administrative Assistant 4 to support the COAST II Program Office located in Redondo Beach, CA. The successful candidate must be proactive, self-motivated, well organized and detail oriented. Candidate is expected to be resourceful while exercising good judgment, demonstrate flexibility with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent follow-through. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have proven ability to interface with all levels of management and customers and work as a team player.
The successful candidate will be required to perform general administrative duties, coordinate meetings, book conference rooms, arrange travel for program office personnel, coordinate engagement events, and maintain a professional and orderly office environment.
High School diploma or GED
6 years' experience performing administrative duties
Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance or SCI access within the last 7 years
Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman (NG) policies and procedures
Familiarity with NG systems (Concur, iBuy, and other NG tools)
Knowledge of Concur with experience in making travel arrangements for both domestic and overseas travel and preparing expense reports for submittal
Proficiency in Outlook to maintain busy calendars for multiple staff members and coordinate meetings, including customer visits, over a variety of locations and facilities
Experience in planning and providing logistical support for meetings and events
