Northrop Grumman PC Support Technician* in Raleigh, North Carolina

We are seeking a PC Support Technician to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Raleigh, NC. This is an on-site position with no telecommute possibilities. This position is part of the Northrop Grumman's ETS Contract with the United States Postal Service, bringing top of the line professional technologists to their teams.

The successful candidate will be directed to plan, research, evaluate, develop, install, test, integrate, implement and support, the hardware, software, and communications components to refresh a large, multi-platform technology infrastructure. This position will require that you work independently with very minimal supervision or direction.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support computers on a Windows platform and associated workstation hardware to include OS build, application and hardware issues.

  • Troubleshoot printer setup and driver issues

  • Support Active Director users and devices.

  • Upgrade Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio, and SCCM

  • Create, maintain and update knowledge base articles with relevant information related to recent problems and solutions.

  • Support System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) migration

  • Support for COTS applications

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Bachelors Degree and 1 year of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

  • Previous experience supporting Windows XP / Windows 7 / Windows 10

  • Experience with Windows configuration and user administration

  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance - US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.

  • Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Enterprise level architecture

  • Experience with remote troubleshooting of operating system upgrades

  • ServiceNow Experience

  • Active USPS security clearance
