The Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) Systems Test Organization team requires a Test Engineering & Operations Manager responsible for all facets of ATDC Systems Test engineering & operations, including staffing, planning, execution and reporting in multiple technology areas. This position requires a highly motivated and self-starting individual with relevant test operations experience, who will be willing to work additional assignments beyond the defined requirements of this position.
Typical duties include:
Manage the daily test activities and personnel support, prioritize tasks and oversee the strategic long-term planning of test engineering & operations
Manage the daily tasks of the assigned personnel, including Test Engineers, Systems Test Engineers, Operators and support personnel
Manage the Test Engineering & Operations including budgets, personnel and resource scheduling as well as program de-confliction.
Liaise with the PAICoE Test Operations Functional Homeroom and the Government Flight Representative (GFR) as required for the statement of work
Act as the Systems Integration, Test and Evaluation site lead during the execution of test operations
Identify all risks, issues, and pressures and develop mitigation and closure plans.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience with an emphasis on 5 years of test engineering.
Active DOD Top Secret clearance, with an investigation date within the past 6 years
Ability to obtain a PAR
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science degree in science, technology, engineering or math
Flexibility to work additional flight assignments beyond the defined requirements of this position.
