Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the integration and planning efforts for a Global Logistics Support team. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. The selected individual will integrate and prepare presentation materials in support of the strategic rhythm established by management. Provide presentations to management on key performance metrics as well as infrastructure requirements to prevent shortages and meet critical schedules. The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Asset Management team in support of borrow paybacks, repairs, procurement and management of all material requirements and assist with critical asset management in support of a large program. Responsibilities will also include coordination with purchasing, engineering, scheduling and subcontractors to expedite material requirements. Responsible for the effective and accurate tracking of material inventory, including GFP and contractor acquired property.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience in warehousing, supply, business management, or logistics.

  • Proficient in researching parts and deriving part numbers/ordering information.

  • Must have an active Secret clearance and must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and a minimum of 13 years of experience in warehousing, supply GSC, or business management.

  • SAP & Passport inventory program experience.

  • Current Special Program Access.
