Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Quality Analyst Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA where technology and teamwork come together.

Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications. Process Nonconformance tags through sector process and program quality plans. Develop and maintain relationship with local customer representatives and collaborate to meet customer satisfaction and industry standards.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, or Master's degree with 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance

Nonconforming Material Control (Preliminary Review) qualification/experience

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance, Special Program Access

Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

Nonconforming Material Control (Material Review) qualification/experience

2 years or more of Quality Inspection or Quality Engineering experience

Well versed in AS9100/ISO9001 industry standards

Active DoD Secret Clearance, Special Program Access

Experience with process/contract compliance (DCMA1 8210.1)

Experience interacting and presenting to DCMA or Program office

Proficient in Microsoft Office Tool suite (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Understanding of Configuration Management process with previous Hardware Software Configuration Management Experience

Experience in process improvements and auditing

Salary Range: $107,000 - $160,600

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
