Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Security Coordinator level 3 at our Palmdale, CA location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides administrative support to the Document Control Team. Able to cross-train and provide redundancy services to classified material accountability processes, operations, and physical security. Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control. Maintains lock and key records. Collaborates with internal and external customers for security deliverables and de-conflicts tasks to deliver consistent, quality customer service. Verifies accuracy of information prior to issuing courier authorization briefs or conducting data entries. Maintains accountability and control of classified material and information.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 4 years of Security or Administrative experience

  • Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience with DoD Manual 5205.07, Volumes 1-4

  • Experience working with customer-based security components

  • Working knowledge of basic office automation tools, such as Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Must work well as a junior member of a team

  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and have the ability to make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions

  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
