Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Manager5 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
The selected candidate will be the DeputyBusiness Team Lead and oversee Product Supportdevelopment activities in an office environment supporting a restricted program. Product Support technical functions include Reliability & Maintainability, Logistics Support Analysis, Training Systems, Support Equipment, Technical Publications,Modeling & Analysis, and Hardware Support.
The following summary defines position roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating the technical, schedule, and cost baseline for contract activities within the Product Support IPT Business Team.
Provides program management direction and oversight to a large Supplier / Interdivisional Work Order (IWO).
Provides leadership and direction to Product Support disciplines
Directs detailed technical activities and ensures CDRLs / deliverables comply with customer SOW.
Leads IPT cost and schedule integration
Responsible for EV reporting and coordinating with cost and schedule management teams to maintain Earned Value (EV) of work packages and program schedules.
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Prepares briefings for internal and external customers.

Bachelor's degree with15 years ofappliedexperience ORMaster's degree with13 years of applied experience.
Experience in Project Management or Project Engineering
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance with Periodic Review/ Investigation within the last7 years
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to start
An active DoD Top Secret or SCI clearance with Periodic Review/Investigation within the last7 years
Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Excellent briefing abilities to internal and external customers
Ability to multi-task projects and prioritize work
Experience managingdiverse, geo-separated teams
Current Certified CAM
Experience Risk / OpportunitiesManager
