Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Manager Programs 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

You willManage all efforts of programs entering the Production and Installation phase for the B-2 Bomber from inception through completion. Role will be responsible to manage and integrate multiple programs to attain efficient and quality kit installations on the B-2.

You will be responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. You will participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

You will act as theprimary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

You will establishe milestone and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degreewith 6yearsaerospace experience.

Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a team environment such as program manager or IPT leader.

Must have an active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).

You must have Program Management experience in DODprogramor projects

You must have experience with EVMS or similar cost and schedule management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Program management experience in production programs

Experience in acquisition planning, sub-contractor management, Customer relations, and management of geographically dispersed teams.

Technical experience in one or more engineering disciplines to include aerospace, avionics, software, systems and airframe.
