Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is currently seeking a Senior General Manufacturing Manager 3 to join the B-2 team in Palmdale, CA !

This position reports to the B-2 PDM Director of Manufacturing Operations.

Leads the Depot modification team in all technical aspects to perform depot operations which range from coatings, paint, electrical, mechanical, systems installation, test and flight operations.

Insures team has resources and training to perform work statement.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment that meets all factory accountability guidelines.

Responsible for the development of the team and creating an environment where all opinions are heard and respected.

Responsible for continuous improvement of people, products, processes, systems and services through the application of lean concepts, best practices and ideas from Process Management Teams.

Successful applicant will demonstrate knowledge of utilizing shop floor controls to manage Quality, Schedule and Cost.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with 5 years experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree with 7 years' experience OR an Associate's degree with 9 years' experience OR a High School Diploma/equivalent with 11 years' experience in the aerospace and/or related industries.

  • 5 years of leadership experience

  • Ability to work any shift

  • A current and active DOD Secret Clearance with background investigation or refresh within the past 5 years is required.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access will be required to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree

  • 7 or more years' aerospace experience

  • Depot or Flight operations experience

  • Special Program Access
