Logistics Operations Site Manager (Mgr. 2)

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems – Global Logistics and Operational
Support functional homeroom is seeking aLogistics Operations Project/Site Manager for a CONUS program, reporting to the functional program manager for thePalmdale region. The Manager will lead a mid-size team and will direct all phases of programs from inception throughcompletion. This position will be based out of Anderson AFB.
In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to:
- Be responsible for program management duties on site
- Have CONUS customer interface
- Make budgetary decisions
- Communicate with CONUS Program Management Team and IPT leadership
- Assist in problem resolution
- Develop plans
- Coordinate relocation and demobilization efforts
- Assist in contingency planning

This position requires the ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

discipline. Supervisory or management responsibilities for projects engaged in research and/or product development in more than one engineering discipline.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution is required
A minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance, operational planning, and/or logistics support is required
A minimum 5 years of experience managing/leading an operational organization is required
Active DOD Secret Clearance, in scope within 5 years is required
Ability to obtain and maintain special program access (SAP) is required
Ability to travel to an undisclosed OCONUS location is required
This position requires having flexibility in schedule for the following shifts: nights, weekends and holidays.
10 years of experience in maintenance, operational planning, and/or logistics support
Military experience leading tactical and operational teams with increasing levels of responsibility, including recent (within
the last 5 years) manned/unmanned system leadership and/or combat experience
Experience working in OCONUS locations
Ability to understand the technology and help expand current efforts or develop new business opportunities
Experience managing highly technical projects which have delivered critical/complex hardware and/or capability to
