Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects and Radiation Engineer5 in Palmdale, California .
Thesuccessful candidate will be assigned to develop and deliver EMEproducts and will be the technical liaison between internal and external organizations.
Leading a team in decomposing platform level electromagnetic environment (EME) and radiation system level requirements into box level requirements.
Specifying EME program design guidance and coordinating subcontract management test planning with suppliers or NGTS / Sub-suppliers.
Provide status at Program milestone meetings.
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining IPT and supplier test specifications, procedures, and schedules.
Develop pre and post-test briefings demonstrating EME and radiation compliance.
Some travel is required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
At least14 years of direct experience in the EME field
RF test engineering experience in test or design area
Active in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance
The ability to obtain program access
MSEE and a minimum of12 years of applied experience.
Thorough understanding of MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-464 and/or MIL-STD-461.
Proficiency in MATLAB and RF modeling software tools such as FEKO
