Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking an IT Asset Management Support administrator to join its dynamic team of technical professionals in Palmdale, CA . Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Performing as IT Asset Management Support representative for a classified government program

  • Administers IT purchase and inventory system and management system

  • Updates and administers asset databases, tracking life cycle of all assets

  • Receives and manages inventory, ensures security of assets while in inventory

  • Maintains and manages supplier records, service level agreements, software license information and updates, and assists in developing enterprise wide IT purchasing standards and procedures

  • Receives new equipment and software requests and monitors procurement and deployment activities

  • Verifies financial data (e.g., leased, depreciated, or expensed), and monitors and reconciles changes in inventory and performs spot checks to ensure process and system quality

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of IT experience; OR an Associate's degree with 0 years of IT experience is required

  • Must have prior experience with inventory management (IT inventory management is strongly preferred)

  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds

  • Ability to work after hours, and weekends, as needed

  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DOD Secret level security clearance in order to be considered

  • Must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems related discipline, to include 2 years of IT Asset Management experience in a DOD environment

  • Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments

  • Project Management experience, or a PMP certification, is desirable

  • Solid writing skills, to include experience with the use of Wiki pages and/or SharePoint sites for documentation purposes

  • Active DOD Secret level clearance, in-scope for program access, would be ideal
