Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is currently seeking a Associate Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst Level 1 to assist with all business activities associated with several rapidly growing programs. This position will support and partner with the applicable Program Management Team to establish strategy, prioritize requirements, and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes. This position will require the selected candidate to work on-site in our NG site in Oklahoma City, OK.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Reporting variance analysis and preparing cost reviews

  • Maintain EVMS compliance including cost/schedule integration

  • Prepare and maintain spend plans; develop and review Estimates at Complete (EACs); incorporate changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain cost and schedule baselines

  • Assist Control Account Managers (CAMs) with EVMS activities including: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and alignment; time-phasing of tasks; developing and documenting earned value methodologies; performance measurement; estimate to complete analysis and updates and variance analysis research and reporting

  • Create financial charts in support of program management and program reviews; identify cost impacts and develop recovery plans as required

  • Responsible for actuals reconciliation, budget change requests and ensuring proper accounting

Basic Qualifications:

  • This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider high school diploma or equivalent (GED) or Bachelor's degree with 0 years of experience.

  • Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills (i.e. working with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Certifications in Earned Value Management or Project Management a plus

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to management and stakeholders

  • Experience with common scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Empower and/or Open Plan (OPP)

  • Experience leading programs in audits / reviews government agencies such as the DCMA and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)

Salary Range: $47,400 - $71,200

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
