Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Quality Analyst/Principal Quality Analyst to provide support to our SDS Receiving Inspection Team. Selected candidate will support SMA functions to ensure mission success. This position will be located in Ogden, Utah.

What You'll Get to Do:
Create, monitors and reports to upper management keys metrics for the receiving inspection processes
Create, update receiving inspection SPP', manuals, procedures and work instructions
Assesses RI performance and risks, creates/suggests improvement or process changes to ensure acceptable results.
Lead/support improvement initiatives
Assist PQM in preparation and execution on Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB).
Support operational activities as deemed critical to teams success.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
Quality Analyst (level 2): Bachelor's degree and 3 years of quality/inspecting/manufacturing experience; or a Master’s degree and 1 year of quality/inspecting/manufacturing experience. 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Principal Quality Analyst (level 3): Bachelor's degree and 6 years of quality/inspecting/manufacturing experience; or a master’s degree and 4 years of quality/inspecting/manufacturing experience. 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Quality Tools Systems (MES, SAP, etc.) to support program processes, audits, and improvement.
Experience with manufacturing, quality controls, inspection and/or non-conformance controls.
Experience with implementing, monitoring and/or maintaining metrics
Experience in problem solving tools such as 8D, or 5 why's Fish bone diagrams
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Experience creating and revising work instructions, operating manuals and procedures
Knowledge of engineering drawings, engineering specifications, GD&T
Experience in inspections processes
Experience in analyzing metrics to identify shifts, drifts or trends
Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400
Salary Range 2: $76,600 - $115,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
