Northrop Grumman Technology Services in Ogden, UT is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide Nuclear Surety engineering support for current and future ICBM weapon systems.
Conduct technical nuclear surety analyses, nuclear certification assessments, and risk& vulnerability analyses required to sustain the ICBM force. This includes safety/security evaluations of the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, propulsion, transportation & handling, nuclear command & control, software, and communications subsystems. Duties also include technical support to the Air Force ICBM Nuclear Certification Manager with AFI 63-125 Nuclear Certification Program activities, presenting technical material to the Nuclear Surety Working Group and other AF review boards. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3
Bachelor's degree or higherin an engineering or related scientific field
Minimum2 years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or0 years with a Master's degree (Level 3 requires a minimum 5 years with a BS or 3 years with an MS)
Experience directly or supporting DoD or AF NuclearEnterprise policy and processes
Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or higher
Active Top Secret Clearance strongly preferred
ICBM work experience, particularly related to ICBM design, operations, requirements, maintenance, or security
Experience conducting Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Excellent technical writing skills
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills required to work closely with teammates
