Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an experienced Manager, Business Development 3 to support various business development efforts with an emphasis on software sustainment and modernization work. This position will be located in Ogden, UT.
This person will lead BD efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. They will develop strategy including business solutions for pursuit of opportunities; build a pipeline of opportunities, develop value propositions, discriminators and differentiators; identify customer decision makers, and assist in identifying teaming suppliers.
Further, identifying resource needs and challenges, enlisting support from functional organizations, shaping customer’s vision and direction, and tracking customer commitment and activities will be key areas of the job.
Develop customer relationships with software organizations supporting DoD activities.
Interface with Government Relations to accomplish customer executive level shaping.
Interface with capture personnel to evolve the capture strategy of bid opportunities.
Interface with the Technology Office to accomplish multi-year technology planning and discriminator/differentiator identification and development.
Interface with the Line Organizations to coordinate on responsibilities for new vs. organic growth opportunities, human resource assignments and financial planning and allocation.
25-30% travel required.

Bachelor’s degree with 15 years of related experience or a Masters degree and 13 years of related experience.
10 years of experience performing and/or managing software development and/or sustainment projects.
Working knowledge of Information Assurance and Cyber Resiliency.
Successful track record of developing software sustainment opportunities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interface at executive levels.
Strong network and understanding of Software engineering and Cyber Resiliency Technical offerings across Northrop Grumman.
Business Development and/or Program Management experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Prior Program Management experience
Experience in the business acquisition process
Previous profit and loss experience
Degree in a relevant technical discipline (i.e. EE, Software engineering, etc)
Embedded Software Sustainment and modernization experience
Experience developing or sustaining military aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP) software
Hands on experience performing Enterprise Information Assurance and/or Weapon Systems Cyber Hardening
