Northrop Grumman Technology Services is looking for experienced electrical engineers, computer engineers and computer scientists to work with embedded computer systems based in Ogden, UT.
Responsibilities to include:
Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of embedded electronic equipment and systems
Establish embedded systems requirements and subsequently design and develop embedded hardware and software systems with accompanying integration testing
Performing trade studies, document embedded system architectures, analyze system performance
Evaluate Supplier Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) with regard to potential suppliers' current and future products offerings, develop supplier evaluation criteria and conduct technical evaluations documentation evaluation results against established selection criteria
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and have the ability to work in collaborative/team settings across all levels
Bachelor's degreein Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field
Minimum 2 years of related experience with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters
Demonstrated experience, use, and/or application of general electrical, computer or software engineering principles, theories and concepts
Demonstrated experience with system level testing methodologies
US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Top Secret Clearance
Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
Familiarity with designing, building, integrating and testing embedded system microcontroller circuits and devices
Understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor fundamentals
Basic experience with FPGAs, ASICs and Digital Signal Processing
Experience developing software architectures for embedded systems including software integration and system programming using languages
Experience using C, C++, C#, ADA, and FORTRAN programming languages
Experience in the military aerospace development environment
Demonstrated performance, leadership and customer support
Familiarity with process/procedure development and generation of hardware and software system specifications
Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems
Responsible, self-sufficient engineer capable of performing tasks with general guidance
Demonstrated communication skills including technical writing and verbal communication
Strong communication skills including technical writing and verbal presentations.
