Northrop Grumman Technology Services is looking for an experienced Computer Hardware engineer based in Ogden, UT.
Responsibilities to include:
Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems
Design and develop computer, network, and storage architecture, perform hardware integration and testing, and requirements analysis
Performing trade studies, documenting subsystem architectures, analyzing performance, and evaluating Technology Readiness Level (TRL) with regard to supplier current and future products offerings, developing supplier evaluation criteria and conducting technical evaluations, documenting results and selection

Bachelor's degreein Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 9 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7 years with a Master's degree; 4 years with a PhD
Demonstrated experience in computer architecture and associated elements; processing hardware, operating systems, board support packages, messaging middleware, networking standards/protocols (e.g. 1553, 1394, Ethernet), and/or data storage
Demonstrated experience designing computer hardware within size, weight, and power constraints
Demonstrated experience designing computer hardware for environmental survivability
CurrentDoD Secret Security clearance with the most recent review within the past 5 years. This position also requires the ability to obtaina Top Secret Clearance
Current DoD Top Secret Clearance
Experience designing hardware for defense certifications
Familiarity with FIPS Publication 140-2 standards for cryptographic modules
Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework and FIPS Publication 200
Understanding of implementing modern cryptographic protocols in system solutions
