Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a qualified senior cybersecurity professional for an established program within the Immersive Missions Solutions (IMS) organization that provides secure DoD communications for the Warfighter. The position is based at Nellis AFB, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. All efforts and tasking are performed on site within a secure government facility. The position also requires occasional travel to Orlando, FL where the primary program and contract management is based. The candidate's responsibilities include: Ensuring system security needs are established and maintained under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for operations development, security controls definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security assessments, systems security hardening, vulnerability testing and security compliance scanning and provide analytical support for security policy development and analysis

• Documenting/supporting Assessment & Authorization activities necessary for Authority to Operate approvals

• Participating in technical interchange meetings

• Providing support for development and enhancement of security engineering inputs to program documentation, Security Authorization packages, and Research & Development reports

• Providing input to, and interface in customer meetings, or providing status input to higher level management

• Coordinate and track cyber security analysis tasks and efforts across multiple IS domains The ideal candidate will have direct work experience in the activities listed above. They must have a broad knowledge of IT systems, the impacts of system hardening on those systems, and experience diagnosing and resolving issues caused by the system hardening. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with other cyber functional areas (ISSM and ISSO roles), internal company management and executives.
