Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to join our team in Norfolk, VA. Candidate's responsibilities include:
Providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
Gathering, maintaining, formatting, compiling, and manipulating technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
Producing engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
Performing detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
Using personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
Conducting tests and recording data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Familiarity with electronic equipment testing
Familiarity with circuit schematics
Familiarity with logic diagrams
Familiarity testing radio frequency
Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
Ability to read flow carts
AA or other 2 year technical degree in a related field and 4 plus year's experience. Years of experience can be used in lieu of degree.
Active DoD Interim Secret Clearance or higher.
Experience with ATE
Knowledge of ATE language such as ATLAS - Abbreviated Test Language for All Systems
Familiarity with radar testing
Hawkeye E-2 experience
